So I’ve been lifting a year and progressed fairly decently, however it’s was only for about the first 7-8 months that I was actually following a specific program. I was following a PPL program and and always had specific movements, sets and reps for each day. However for the last couple of months I’ve been keeping to the PPL structure but I haven’t really walked into the gym knowing exactly what movements, sets and reps I’m going to be doing/aiming for and making it up as I go along. My question is, is this a real problem and will it affect my strength/muscle gains?
